Creating a Slideshow

By clicking the “Create Slideshow” link, you are able to add a slide show into your multimedia blog.
SchoolFusion has built a flash based photo album tool that will allow you to insert up to 100 photos,
in any file format. To create a slideshow, click the create slideshow link, then follow these steps:

1.  Give your slide show a title, for example “Paris.”
2.  Begin to upload images by clicking on the grey „browse” button.
3.  Browse for the image on your desktop.
4.  Click on the image title, and click “open.”
5.  Give the image a title, for example “The Eiffel Tower.”
6.  Continue uploading the remaining images you would like included in your slideshow, if
you would like to add more than 5, click the “Add another slide” link.
7.  The SchoolFusion slideshow will automatically “Color Enhance” all images. If you would like your
images to not be enhanced, un-check the “Color Enhance” check box. The color enhancement tool
recreates your images with more vibrant colors.
8.  When all images have been loaded, click the “Upload” Button.
9.  When the images have finished loading, you will receive a message stating “Your slideshow was
created”, and it is now visible within your multimedia blog.
10.  If you have loaded a large number of images, it may take several minuets for all images to load.
Please be patient and wait for the process to finish.

You may also add a topic to your slideshow. These topics will help users search a teacher‟s blog for posts
that contain a particular tag. Teachers can search for topics using the “Browse Topic” button, or type in
their own topic. Some examples of topics are: The Great
Depression, or Historical Viewpoints and Perspectives. The
teacher‟s multimedia blog page will display the top five topics

The more options link permits you to allow commenting, and
select which classrooms the slideshow should appear.  To delete
a slideshow post click on the X icon, you will be asked to confirm
the deletion before the posting is deleted. The bubble icon allows you to read all comments associated
with that post. The administrator can also set who can view and contribute to this post
